About Us
Our founder holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Marquette University (1979) and has worked professionally in the snow and ice management industry since 1986. In recognition of this expertise, he became Indiana’s first Certified Snow Professional in 2006.
A respected national educator, he has delivered lectures, webinars, and taught dozens of professional courses across the United States since 1999. Speaking engagements include industry-leading organizations such as the Indiana Green Expo, Wisconsin Landscape Contractors Association, Michigan Nursery & Landscape Association, and the Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association.
He is also a published author, with articles appearing in Snow Business Magazine, Indiana Nursery & Landscape News, and Attorney-At-Law Magazine, bridging the gap between industry best practices and legal considerations.
Leadership within the profession includes extensive service with the Snow & Ice Management Association (SIMA):
In addition, he has mentored more than 140 SIMA members, contributing to the advancement of professional standards nationwide.
He currently serves as President of Snow & Ice Pros, Inc., based in Hammond, Indiana, and has provided expert witness services in slip-and-fall litigation from 2011 to 2017, with case experience spanning Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and New Jersey.
